Since 2015, Patrick has been the Director of Employee Learning & Performance at Assurant, a role in which he is responsible for the management and instructional delivery method & approach that support the training business needs for a lender placed and claims business organization. Patrick manages instructors at multiple locations to help drive performance, employee learning and development. In 2013 & 2014, he received high value scoring among any manager in his division in terms of overall employee engagement.
Patricks original background was in the field of education, which provided a natural segue into my decade-plus of experience in employee training and development. Patrick has led workshops focusing on diversity, sexual harassment, leadership development, and other employee-related learning programs as well as motivational workshops for young adults aimed at improving their self-esteem and leadership skills. Patricks specialties include adult learning, coaching, conflict resolution, performance management, human resource development, and corporate learning.
